140 people die as Boat capsizes in Congo
A boat carrying passengers and goods has capsized on a river in the democratic republic of Congo killing 140 people.
The boat was carrying passengers’ goods from mushie which was 30 km or about 20 miles from Bandundu which is the chief town in province.
The main reason behind this accident was that, the boat was badly overloaded for which it couldn’t make through rough waters .the same incident took place last November at the same place killing about 73 people.
Democratic republic Congo has only few roads or rails links to which people are forced to move through boats and often overloaded which leads to accidents as such.
